SELECTION PROCESS

  • All applications received by Admissions will be reviewed and assessed by a member of the Admissions’ team. Admissions staff will verify the information provided by the applicant, and ensure that all criteria for entry to the course are met and all necessary documents are attached as per the admissions requirements. All academic documents submitted will be required to be attested by the issuing authority or board of education or a recognized authority.
  • All successful applications will be shortlisted for the screening test (see screening test section for details). Successful applicants will undertake the screening test on the scheduled date and time which will be determined by the Admissions Department. The purpose of the screening and interview process is to ensure effective selection and the appropriate placement of the applicants to the intended flight training programs, in line with the standards set by GACA and other International Aviation regulations.
  • All applicants who pass the screening test will attend a personal interview (see interview section for details) on a scheduled date and time. Interviews are scheduled in accordance with the general admissions schedule of SAFA and in conjunction with the Head of Training.
  • Admissions will complete the final assessment process and issue an offer of admissions to all successful applicants, as well as inform those who do not meet the entry criteria.
